forte BP1
100% Dimethyl Polysiloxane An industry standard non-polar phase suitable for all routine analyses. Suitable replacement for: DB-1, DB-Petro, HP-1, HP-1MS, Rtx-1, Ultra-1, SPB-1, SPB-1 Sulfur, Petrocol DH, CP-Sil 5CB, VB-1, ZB-1, VF-1ms.
forte BP10 (1701)
14% Cyanopropylphenyl Polysiloxane This phase has been selected with a polarity suited for the separation of organochlorine pesticides listed in the EPA 608 and 8081 methods. Suitable replacement for: DB-1701, Rtx-1701, HP-1701, SPB-7, CP-Sil19CB, 007-1701, PE-1701, AT-1701, OV-1701, VB-1701, ZB-1701.
forte BP20 (Wax)
Polyethylene Glycol A very polar phase suited to the analysis of alcohols, ketones and aldehydes. Also offers excellent separation of aromatic isomers such as the xylene isomers. Suitable replacement for: DB-Wax, Rtx-Wax, Stabilwax, HP20M, HP-Wax, HP-INNOWax, Supelcowax-10, AT-Wax, Nukol, CPWax 52CB, VB-WAX, ZB-WAX.

Nitroterephthalic acid (TPA) modified Polyethylene Glycol A very polar phase suited to the analysis of free fatty acids. Suitable replacement for: DB-FFAP, HP-FFAP, Stabilwax-DA, CP Wax 58CB, VB-FFAP, ZB-FFAP.

forte BPX1
100% Dimethyl Polysiloxane A 100% polydimethylsiloxane non-polar column for Simulated Distillation in the petroleum industry. This column is coated with a custom-designed phase which gives low, consistent bleed and is ideal for background subtraction. The column is used for ASTM methods D2887 and D6352 and has a maximum temperature up to 430°C for the aluminum clad column. Suitable replacement for: DB-2887, DB-HT Sims Dis, HP-1, Petrocol 2887, Petrocol EX2887, Rtx-2887.

35% Phenyl Polysilphenylene-siloxane An MS-Premium, low bleed column with a maximum temperature up to 370°C. Especially suited for trace analysis of herbicides and aromatic compounds. Suitable replacement for: DB-35, DB-35ms, Rtx-35, HP-35, HP-35MS, SPB-35, MDN-35, VB-35, ZB-35, VF-35ms.

5% Phenyl Polysilphenylene-siloxane An MS-Premium, low bleed column with a maximum temperature up to 370°C. Suitable for trace analysis of pesticides, drugs, hydrocarbons and phenols. The BPX5 phase has been designed for robustness and is suitable for over 80% of all routine analyses performed by chromatographers. forte BPX70
70% Cyanopropyl Polysilphenylene-siloxane A MS-Premium, low bleed column with a maximum temperature up to 260°C. Polarity has been designed for Fatty Acid Methyl ester (FAME) analysis. Suitable replacement for: CP-Sil88, DB-23, HP-23, Rtx-2330, SP-2330, SP-2380.
forte BPX90
90% Cyanopropyl Polysilphenylene-siloxane forte BPX90 is the latest development in high performance GC Capillary Columns from SGE. It is a unique column in that it is both highly polar and has high thermal stability (280°C). The principal π-π retention mechanism gives forte BPX90 a unique selectivity, which allows it to separate compounds that cannot be resolved using conventional columns. forte BPX90 is an ideal column for fast high polarity separations in areas such as separation of the cis, trans and positional isomers of FAMEs, perfumery, petrochemicals, pesticides, PCBs and aromatics. forte BPX90 is also an excellent choice for 2D-GC, in combination with non-polar phases. 5% Phenyl (equiv.) Polycarborane-siloxane Unique high temperature phase suited for simulated distillation and other petroleum applications. This column is the highest temperature column available with a maximum temperature up to 480°C. This is a unique, ultra high temperature column.
forte HT8
8% Phenyl (equiv.) Polycarborane-siloxane Unique high temperature phase suited for the analysis of PolyChlorinated Biphenyl (PCB) congeners. The unique polarity of this phase gives excellent separation of PCB congeners. This is a unique, ultra high temperature column.

forte SolGel-WAX
The world's highest temperature wax capillary column at 300°C. SOLGEL-WAX is a bonded polyethylene glycol stationary phase. It is unique technology because the phase is encapsulated in synthetic glass (SOLGEL material) and the whole matrix is itself bonded to the surface of the fused silica. This process leads to a very robust high-temperature column. Suitable replacement for: DB-Wax, Rtx-Wax, Stabilwax, HP20M, HP-Wax, HP-INNOWax, Supelcowax-10, AT-Wax, Nukol, CP Wax 52CB, VB-WAX, ZB-WAX.
